Irresistible Desserts Academy!
Here we aim to get youngsters excited about baking while learning safety and life skills as well.
It is totally free to become a mini chef in training (registered member). All you have to do is sign up for the monthly newsletter.
Each month our students will receive:
- Printable recipe
- Link to a pre-recorded video to follow along with the monthly recipe
- Coloring page
- Fun activity
- Certified mini chef diploma at the end of 12 months
- Chance to be a feature mini chef
Live Classes
During the year there will be 3 opportunities to attend a live class. This will be done in person as well as virtually. Unfortunately, we do have to charge a fee for these classes

- October 2022 14th (in-person) 16th (virtual): Caramel Apple Pie with Cookie Crust
- Registration and payment deadline October 8th 2022
- January 2023 7th (in-person) 8th (virtual): Rainbow Bread
- Registration and payment deadline December 31st 2022
- April 2023 15th (in person) 16th (virtual): Pecan Pralines
- Registration and payment deadline April 7th 2023
What to expect:
- Classes for ages 6 – 12
- Languages spoken by our teachers: Dutch, English, Papiamentu, and Spanish
- All teachers have experience with children with behavioral impairments
- All printed material in English
- All in-person classes include all materials. Simply bring your smile
Costs:
- In-person classes including all materials USD 55.00
- Virtual live class via zoom USD 20.00

Registration
Registration is limited. So, if you would like to register your child(ren) please do so early. Registration closes 1 week prior to the class date or when the class is full.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
In the event that the classes do not meet minimum occupancy the class will be rescheduled to a later date. If the student is no longer able to participate a full refund will be given.
If in-person students cancels within 1 week of the class date there will be an 80% refund as materials have already been purchased at this point.
Feature Mini Chef
To become a feature mini chef you must complete the following requirements:
- Be a registered member of Irresistible Desserts Academy
- Ages 6 – 12
- Send pictures of:
- Your recipe masterpiece
- Completed coloring page
- You doing monthly activity
